If You Go To The S/East, You Will Wonder If It’s The Same Allocation That Others Get They Get-Okorie

In a recent interview with Vanguard, Chief Chekwas Okorie, the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), highlighted the ongoing collective efforts of the Igbo community across various areas.

Okorie noted that notable advancements are being achieved in governance, the economy, and social justice. He pointed out that Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the key pan-Igbo organization, has formed a joint committee working closely with South-East governors. This committee is responsible for implementing an economic plan tailored for the South-East region.

The approved economic blueprint covers diverse sectors such as agriculture, health, and infrastructure. Okorie believes this plan will lead to significant improvements in these fields.

Despite Nigeria’s wider economic difficulties, Okorie emphasized that the South-East region is making significant headway, thanks to the effective collaboration between the governors and Ohanaeze.

He said, “If you go to the South-East now, you will begin to wonder whether it’s the same allocation that others get that they get. Things are happening in the South-East and it is not by happenstance.
