If Obi/Atiku Come Without Fundamental Reforms, They Would Under Perform Like Tinubu–Chris Nwaokobia

According to the report from the Punch, a Rights activist and Convener, Country First Movement, Prof. Chris Nwaokobia emphasized that any leader who prioritized restructuring the country and fostering healthy competition among its states and regions would have achieved better governance.

He believed that returning to the principles of the Independence Constitution or the Republican Constitution of 1963 would have led to improvements.

While acknowledging that President Tinubu has underperformed in these areas, he speculated that other political figures like Peter Obi or Atiku Abubakar might have faced similar challenges without implementing fundamental reforms.

He said, “Anybody who emerged and made restructuring of the country and our economic protocol the chief responsibility of the Federal Government would have done better.

Any government that emerged and ensured that we had healthy competition among the states and the component region would have done better.

Any government that emerged and believed that the time had come to go back to the Independence Constitution or the Republican Constitution of 1963 would have done better.

But had Obi or Atiku come without those fundamental reforms, they would also underperform like Tinubu is underperforming….ViĂŞw_More
