Hunger Protests: Come Down From Your High Horses, Atiku Abubakar Tells FG

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has asked President Bola Tinubu-led government to “come down” from their high horses, heed the voice of the people, and address the demands of protesters.

He commended Nigerian youths participating in the #Hunger protests for their largely peaceful conduct while airing their grievances at the start of the nationwide protest on Thursday.

Atiku said this in a statement, in Abuja, on Friday.

He said, “To the government, I admonish you to heed the voices of the people and come down from your high horses.

It is time to demonstrate a sincere commitment to addressing the demands of the protesters.
