If Tinubu Wants To Be A Good Father Christmas To Igbos, He Should Support Anioma State – Uzor Kalu

A former Governor of Abia State and federal lawmaker representing Abia North in the red chamber of the national assembly, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has asked the President of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to support the creation of Anioma state.

Recall that the federal lawmaker representing Delta North in the red chamber of the national assembly, Senator Ned Nwoko had earlier sponsored a bill for the creation of Anioma state. He noted that the South-East geopolitical zone currently has five states, unlike its counterparts, except for the North-West, which has seven states.

According to him, this disparity results in an imbalance of representation and resources, with the South-East having only 15 lawmakers compared to the 18 lawmakers of other zones in the senate.

Reacting to the development in a video on his verified Facebook page, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu said; “I strongly believe that people are calling for Etiti state, people are calling for Aba state, people are calling for Orlu state, and all the rest of them.

He added; “If President Bola Tinubu wants to be a good father Christmas to the Igbos, he should support Anioma state….Viêw_ More
