Former Nigerian Senator, playwright and human rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani has taken to social media to react after some Katsina State Government officials diverted bags of rice meant for the poor in their State..
You will recall that on Wednesday according to report by News Agency of Nigeria NAN, operatives of the Department of the State Service in Katsina State Command recovered 2,000 bags of rice out to 20 trucks donated to the state by the Federal government.
Reacting after the report, Senator Shehu Sani tweeted: “Katsina Government officials, why did you divert bags of Rice meant for the poor? If the people now protest you will say they are causing trouble.”
