There’s Nothing Riskier For A Nation Than Faceless People Or A Mob Leading Protests – Dele Momodu

On 25th July, 2024 the Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu in a post he made Via his official X account while reacting to the proposed 1st August nationwide protest against the administration of the President of Nigeria, Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu, revealed that he had forty-six years experience in protests, and there was nothing riskier for a country than faceless people or a mob leading protests.

According to TheCable, the Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu said “I have 46 years experience in protests, since 1978 at the University of Ife. There’s nothing riskier for a nation than faceless people or a mob leading protests. It is the right of everyone to protest but not the right of anyone to cause mayhem. And government has the right to protect lives and properties.”

On the other hand, the Defence Headquarters in a statement released by the Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Edward Buba, said that the good citizens of the country have the right to peaceful protest, but they did not have the right to mobilize for anarchy and unleash terror in the country…..Viêw_ More
