Hardship: When People Say There Is Hunger, Tell Us The Solution To The Hunger— Dave Umahi

The Minister of Works, Sen. David Umahi has said instead of protests, the focus of Nigerian workers and citizens should be on how to improve productivity, saying such push would improve living standards of the people across the country.

Umahi said complaining about hunger in the country will not proffer solution, adding that “we must engage ourselves into something extra, especially in farming”.

Speaking about the planned nationwide protest, the minister alledge that the current administration has done well for Nigerians, stating that any move against this administrations are not patriotic.

Umahi who spoke with newsmen on Sunday in Uburu, Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi, as reported by PREMIUM TIMES NIGERIA, noted that hunger could go, “if we improve production by engaging in agriculture and step up daily working hours”.

The minister emphasized the need to change the level and hour of productivity to improve the standard of living, questioning the reason of protesting. He added that the country would be more worst if Tinubu did not come into power.

Umahi cited that when he was in the private sector, he pushed for more hours of productivity. The minister said Nigerians can improve their productivity without support from the government….Viêw_ More
