Sack: God Gave Me That Position, And He Took It Through APC; I Bear No Grudges About It—Ndume

Ali Ndume, a Nigerian politician, has reacted to his removal as the Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate.

According to reports, Ali Ndume was sacked as the Senate chief whip after criticising the current administration led by Bola Tinubu and also labelling the Senate lawmakers as kleptomaniacs.

In respect to this development, the Senate president, Godswill Akpabio, has appointed Mohammed Tahir Monguno, the senator representing Borno North, as his replacement.

However, in a video posted by Channels Television, Ali Ndume expressed no regrets for his actions and stood by his statement.

He also maintained that it was God who put him in the position of Senate Chief Whip, and it’s also God who took it through the All Progressive Congress (APC), so he bears no grudges about the incident.

According to the video, “It is God that gave me that position, and it is God that took it through the APC, so I bear no grudges about that.”.
