Why Are Our Top Bankers Humongously Wealthy Than People You Find As MD Of Barclay Banks -Bode George

Chief Bode George, the leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has accused President Tinubu of trying to avoid taking the entire blame for the current economic hardship in the country. George stated that President Tinubu is “playing a game” to deflect responsibility for the economic challenges facing Nigeria.

When asked about the lacking aspect of Nigerian governance, George opined that the managing directors of Nigeria’s top five banks should be called to the Villa to address the issue. He alleged that they are aware of their actions and how they “wasted Nigeria’s resources” during the previous administration.

George quoted, “You know, Bola (Tinubu) has been trying to play some kind of game so that they don’t put all the blame on him.” He added that President Tinubu needs to proffer solutions to the economic challenges, rather than just pointing fingers.

George questioned the wealth of Nigerian bankers, asking, “Why are our own top bankers in Nigeria so humongously wealthy than the people you find there as managing directors of Barclay banks, you know, Lloyds Bank, and you know, all kinds of banks there?”

According to The Sun report, he challenged the government to discuss the details of the funds distributed to banks and how they were utilized, rather than just scratching the surface. George lamented that hunger has become a problem for everyone, rich or poor, and that it seems like it will take another century for the Tinubu government’s policies to come to fruition….Viêw _ More
