Sophia Momodu, the estranged lover of Adeleke David popularly known as Davido on Friday told Lagos State High Court sitting Yaba why Davido should not be allowed to take over affairs of their daughter.
According to the Nation, Sophia narrated how the school their daughter is attending almost ejected her because Davido refused to pay tuition fees. She acknowledged the role played by Davido’s father who paid the school fees when the pressure was on her.
Sophia told court further Davido only come around to spend time with her daughter when he wants to use her media stunts or promotions which many didn’t know his real intention.
According to Sophia; “I never denied Davido access to his daughter but it was him that chose to toe the part of absentee father”.
On what could be the lasting solution, the Nation learnt that the court referred the case for possible settlement by the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
