Subsidy Today, Tomorrow No Subsidy, Nigerians Aren’t Properly Briefed, Where’s The Truth—Bode George

In a recent statement, former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George, has voiced concerns about conflicting reports on Nigeria’s oil sector, as reported by Vanguard.

Speaking to journalists in Lagos, George urged the Federal Government to clarify the situation for Nigerians.

Chief George highlighted the confusion surrounding the issue of fuel subsidy in the country.

He noted that there have been inconsistent reports about whether there is a subsidy or not.

According to him, this inconsistency leaves Nigerians in the dark about what is truly happening in the oil industry.

He questioned why the government has not provided clear information.

George stressed the need for transparency and truthfulness from the government.

He believes that clear communication from the authorities is necessary to avoid further confusion among the citizens.

In the oil sector, you hear there is subsidy today, tomorrow you will here there is no subsidy, we want to know, Nigerians are not properly briefed as to what is happening in that sector.

Subsidy, no subsidy which one should we believe, where is the truth?” he said.
