Our Protest Will Be On The Day Of Elections, Let Us Allow Him To Spend His 4 Years–Omirin Emmanuel

According to Vanguard, During the grand opening of Bojah World in Lagos, Honorable Omirin Emmanuel Olusanya, a member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Atakunmosa East, West/Ilesha East, West of Osun State constituency, shared his thoughts on the performance of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Speaking with reporters, Omirin did not hold back his opinion, describing Buhari’s two terms in office as a waste for Nigeria.

Omirin’s remarks highlighted a sense of dissatisfaction with the outcomes of Buhari’s administration. He pointed out that the expectations many Nigerians had for Buhari were not met, and this had led to widespread disappointment.

His statement reflected the growing sentiment among some politicians and citizens who felt that the former president’s time in office did not bring the progress and development the country needed.

Despite his criticism of the past administration, Omirin urged Nigerians to exercise patience with the current government. He emphasized the importance of giving the new administration a chance to prove itself.

According to him, it is crucial for citizens to allow the current president to complete his term without interference so that there would be no excuses if expectations are not met. This approach, he suggested, would ensure that any judgment of the government’s performance would be fair and based on its complete record.

Omirin also stressed the significance of the electoral process as a tool for accountability. He reminded Nigerians that the ultimate protest against poor governance should be at the ballot box. By participating in elections, citizens have the power to either renew the mandate of a performing administration or vote out one that fails to deliver on its promises.

This, he noted, is a fundamental aspect of democracy that allows the people to have the final say.

His comments resonated with the broader discussions on the need for political patience and active participation in the democratic process. Omirin’s stance reflects a call for Nigerians to be more strategic in their approach to governance, advocating for a measured response rather than immediate protests or disruptions.

He said: “Nigeria should be patient and give the present administration the benefit of the doubt. Our protest will be on the day of elections, let us allow the President to spend his four years so that he will not have an excuse. The next election is coming, if he does not perform to our expectation, vote him out….ViĂŞw_ More
