Protest: We Shouldn’t Expect More From The Minister FCT, Mr Wike Than Mischief-Damilare Adenola

According to report from Channels TV. Damilare Adenola, Director of Mobilization for the Take It Back Movement, has strongly criticized FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for his recent comments on the ongoing protests in Nigeria.

In an interview with Channels Television, Adenola described Wike’s statements as “mischief” and accused him of trying to divert attention from the main issues driving the protests.

Adenola’s comments came after Wike alleged that a Nigerian senator was one of the sponsors of the protest. Adenola dismissed Wike’s claim, saying that the minister was trying to “bail himself out” by making mischievous comments rather than addressing the underlying concerns driving the protests.

The Take It Back Movement is one of the organizations leading the protests, which have been ongoing since August 1. Adenola expressed his disappointment with Wike’s response to the protests, saying, “I don’t think we should expect more from the minister FCT, Mr Wike than mischief.

Because they’ve assessed the whole condition and that’s the only way to bail themselves out by beginning to make mischievous comments rather than address the main issue.”

Adenola’s criticism of Wike’s comments highlights the growing tensions between the government and the protesters. The protests have been ongoing for several weeks, with demonstrators calling for a range of reforms, including improved governance and an end to corruption.

The Take It Back Movement has been at the forefront of the protests, with Adenola and other leaders calling for the government to take action to address the underlying issues driving the protests. Wike’s comments, however, have been seen as an attempt to deflect attention from the main issues and instead focus on making accusations against the protesters.

As the protests continue, it remains to be seen how the government will respond to the demonstrators’ demands. The Take It Back Movement has vowed to continue the protests until their demands are met, and it is likely that the situation will continue to escalate unless a resolution is found….Viêw_ More
