Only FG’ll Turn The Protest Into Bloody Affair, We’re Just Saying We’re Hungry, Angry

Ezekwesili shared her concerns on X, urging the Nigerian government and state authorities to use the protests as a moment for self-reflection.

Ezekwesili pointed out that the only group likely to turn the protests into a violent situation is the government and its supporters.

She stated that the people are expressing hunger and anger and want the government to address their problems correctly.

She urged the Nigerian government, state governments, and lawmakers to use the protests as an opportunity for deep introspection.

The former minister called on them to produce evidence-backed responses and action plans to meet citizens’ demands.

Ezekwesili also highlighted the responsibility of the President to ensure the protection of citizens exercising their constitutional right to protest.

She urged the Nigerian Police to act correctly and reminded the Nigerian Army not to abuse citizens’ rights.

According to Ezekwesili, the citizens will ultimately win.

As we can all already see, the only group that will turn the #EndBadGovernaceProtest into the ‘bloody affair’ that @NigeriaGov propagandists are predicting and prophesying is the Government and its supporters.“
