A nursing mother, who joined the ongoing hunger and hardship protest at Eagle Square in Abuja, accused FCT police operatives of shooting teargas at protesters, putting her baby’s life at risk, Vanguard Newspaper reports.

The protesting nursing mother shared her heartbreaking story of losing her husband to bandits in Katsina state and highlighted the economic hardship Nigerians face, making it difficult for people to eat.

The widow’s plea, “Do they also want to kill my baby?” emphasized the desperation and frustration among protesters who marched from the MKO Abiola Stadium towards the eagle square.

Renowned lawyer, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, advised protesters to shorten their demonstration and present their demands to the federal government, giving President Tinubu’s administration time to address them.
