Bayo Onanuga, an aide to President Bola Tinubu, has raised concerns about the planned nationwide protest in Nigeria, questioning the logic and intentions behind the movement. In a series of tweets, Onanuga claimed that the protesters’ demands lack genuine intent and serve as a facade for overthrowing Nigeria’s 25-year-old democracy.
After analyzing the demands, Onanuga stated that they “are just not making sense” and fail to pass the “test of logic.” He accused the protesters of having a sinister agenda, emphasizing that their demands are unreasonable and lack genuine intent.
Onanuga also highlighted Peter Obi’s involvement in the protest, questioning his intentions after Obi delivered a lecture advocating for a transformational leader in Nigeria.
