In Case You Don’t Know, No FCT Minister Or Traditional Ruler Has Power To Stop A Protest- Sam Amadi

X account user Sam Amadi, who is the director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, discussed the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest on Monday. There have been numerous reports suggesting that the protest will begin on August 1st.

On his page, Sam Amadi claims that no one in Nigeria can put an end to a demonstration. The rationale, he stated, is that protests are protected by the constitution.

 

According to Sam Amadi, not even traditional rulers, the police, or FCT Minister Nyesom Wike can put an end to a demonstration.

He stated that the decision to participate or not participate in a protest rests solely with the citizens.
