Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun announced scholarships and laptops for top students in an essay competition celebrating Soyinka’s 90th birthday. The event highlighted Soyinka’s lifelong commitment to education, cultural exchange, and youth empowerment.

Couple Crushed On Way To Farm In FCT

A tragic accident in Abaji Area Council of the FCT claimed the lives of Alhaji Musa Baba and his wife, Fatima Baba, who were crushed by a car while riding a motorcycle to their farm. The incident occurred near the Abaji General Hospital junction, involving a Mercedes Benz from the Gwagwalada axis.

Alhaji Musa Baba died instantly, while his wife passed away at the hospital. The FRSC evacuated the bodies, and funeral prayers were conducted at Abaji Science Primary School football pitch.
