Youth Council Supports Governors Bid To Free Nnamdi Kanu, Reject Ekpa’s Interference

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council has endorsed the South-East governors’ initiative to negotiate the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). The council has dismissed opposition from Simon Ekpa, a self-proclaimed Biafran official based in Finland, stating that the governors have the legitimacy and mandate to negotiate Kanu’s release.

According to the council, the governors are the rightful representatives of the people, and their efforts to secure Kanu’s release are justified. The council’s leader, Okwu Nnabuike, expressed confidence in the governors’ ability to succeed in their mission, urging them to remain focused and ignore Ekpa’s attempts to disrupt their efforts.
