There Is A Rule Where A Northerner Is Freed But When It Comes To An Igbo Man He Languishes In Prison

 In a video shared by Arise TV, Honourable Obi Aguocha, representing Ikwuano-Umuahia Federal Constituency, Abia State, criticized what he sees as unequal treatment of Igbo people within Nigeria’s judicial system.

He highlighted a perceived disparity where individuals from other regions accused of similar crimes to Nnamdi Kanu have been granted release, yet Kanu remains incarcerated.

Aguocha argued that this situation underscores a systemic bias against Igbo people, suggesting that different standards of justice apply based on ethnicity.

He expressed concern that Kanu’s prolonged detention symbolizes injustice towards the Igbo community, contrasting it with the bail often granted to individuals from other regions for comparable offenses.

According to him, “It appears that there is one set of rules for the rest of Nigerians and another set for an Igbo man.
