Former Edo Deputy Governor, Shaibu Reacts As He Served As An Alter Server At A Catholic Church In Edo

After serving as a “Alter Server” at a Catholic church in Benin, the capital of Edo State, on Sunday, Philip Shaibu—who was previously the deputy governor of the state—reacted.

I had the privilege of serving as a ‘Altar Server’ at the St. Paul Catholic Church in Benin City yesterday during Mass. It was part of the week-long events to mark this year’s Father’s Day in Church, Philip Shaibu said on his verified Facebook profile.

At the Madonna Hall, St. Paul’s, Airport Road, a dinner hosted by the Catholic Men’s Organisation (CMO), Nigeria, was the crowning moment of this year’s event honouring dads in the Cathedral, he said.

Continuing, he said, “I went to the celebration with my supportive wife, Comrade (Mrs.) Maryann Philip-Shaibu, and we looked dapper in our CMO regalia. Joined by other fathers and their families, we enjoyed the celebration immensely.
