I Did Not Know When I Drove Through Sambisa Forest, I Did Not Imagine There’d Be Road -Tunde Fashola

Babatunde Fashola, a former governor of Lagos State, has shared his unique experience of traveling across Nigeria by road two times. He disclosed that he visited all 36 states in the country and he drove for 12 hours daily.

In a video shared by Silverbird TV, Fashola said one interesting moment was when he unknowingly drove through the Sambisa Forest. He said he didn’t expect a road to run through such an area.

He also said he found the journey so enriching that he kept detailed notes and he might write a book about his travels across Nigeria one day. He added that the adventure gave him a deeper understanding of the country and its diverse landscapes.
